Trip to Hualien!! - Day 1

After some days in Taipei we went to a city called Hualien. It's extremely pretty with lots of nature around and a lot of things to do! We were there for 2 days. It was SUPER hot, but also very relaxing :)

Outfit of the day - Gina Tricot shirt, Monki shorts, Adidas sneaks.

Grabbing some ice coffee. This brand was really good. Had it almost every morning in Taipei! :)

The train ticket :) It's about a 2 hour ride on the train. And on the way you get to look at the beautiful scenery!

On the train !

I took so many pictures while riding on the train. It was really fun and impressing to see the nature and the small cities we passed. So different from Denmark!

Arrived in Hualien!! :) 

After getting off the train and walking towards the city to find a place to stay an older lady stopped us and asked if we were looking for a room. Apparently a lot of people do this in Hualien since it's a tourist city. I had no idea but Hua was all like "Yeah I already thought of this before we got here". That man knows everything. 

So the room looks like this! Television and a balcony.

Fridge!! This was lovely to have since we didn't have one in the room in Taipei.

After getting to the room we went out to get some lunch.

We went to one of those places where the table is like one big pan! :D

My beef. The meat was good, but the sauce they used to fry the food in wasn't so good :/ Neither Hua or I thought so.

Also chicken. But again, not so tasty :/

After the food we drove around on the scooter we rented. Beautiful nature all over ! :)

The ocean! 

We drove out to this little cafe by the sea. It was lovely and calming to sit and listen to the waves while drinking some chilled drinks in the hot weather!

We drove back to our room to find a place close by for dinner and ended up eating hot pot omnomnom!

I really love hot pot!! But unfortunately they didn't have many veggies to put in other that cabbage, mushrooms and corn (but I REALLY love corn, so just ordered extra haha)

Also had this honey ice tea, and it was super delicious!! 

We also went to the night market. Didn't remember to take so many pictures that day though D:
